Happy New Year! Starting in a couple weeks, the Sully Library Branch at the Thomas Ryan Center will have a full time children librarian. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this a reality! In addition the Rochester Greater Rochester Foundation has announced it will fund the library to be open for 4 additional hours per week, bringing its weekly schedule to 40 hours.
We also have a new Leiutenant servering our PSA sector Lt. Cory Brown. Welcome!

On Sunday October 4th 2009 North Edge Neighborhood Association (NENA) is having this year's fund raiser. We are cruising the Erie Canal on the beautiful Colonial Belle. This is a 3 hour cruise. The cruise is $18 per ticket. Children 3 and under are free and up to 12 are $12. Departure is at 2:45 PM. Contact dawn@northedge.org for more info.

The tentative Grand Opening of the Thomas Ryan Community Center at 530 Webster Ave is set for September 2009. At our September 3 meeting we will be hosting a tour of School 33 and the new Ryan Center!
